Software Tester � C++, Agile

C++ on Windows has become a higher priority for our client's advanced testing team, incorporating Agile Testing Methodologies.

This makes the most desirable candidate one who has the following:

· Experience as a tester whose continuing career is as a tester.

· C++ at an intermediate level (C++ on Windows is highly desirable, Windows is a huge plus).

· Financial Market Data knowledge, especially with respect to the stock market or financial market pricing data feeds or stock exchange connections, TCP/IP connections.

Here are some examples of possible candidate skills combinations that fit this job:

· Experienced tester with intermediate C++ skill on Windows is a good fit.

· Experienced tester with expert-level C++ non-windows but financial market data experience.

· Fairly new tester (but who plans to make a career of testing) with extensive C++ on Windows.

Job consists of six months of manual software testing of very complex Visual C++ software applications, and then moves to creation of C++ code to create test harnesses and test fixtures inside the Framework for Integration Testing.

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time

Salary Range: $75,000 to $87,000 per year
