Senior QA / Software Testing Engineer
We are in search of a Quality Assurance / Software Tester who loves testing and has some C++ skills. This job will be manual testing for the next 4-6 months. After that time candidate needs to be able to write test cases and write fixtures in C++, in The Framework for Feature Testing, similar to Framework for Integration Testing (F.I.T.). Good tester that knows how to code in C++ some.
We are recruiting Senior Quality Assurance / Software Testing Engineer with strengths in manual software testing, finding software defects, and keen desire for breaking software, using automated test tools such as Quick Test Pro (QTP), Test Director, Quality Center or Load Runner, Our client with an outstanding reputation of achievement and excellent team members using Agile methodologies, needs a strong software testing engineer with some C++ experience (about 1 year or more in C++). They are experiencing some growth. QA Engineers who have tested object orieented programs or worked with Quick Test Pro, Load Runner, Quality Center, and have some programming skills in C++; Knowledge of financial applications is a plus, such as Hedge Funds, Brokerage, FIX, financial interexchange, foreign currency trading, fx, commodity trading, ECNs, exchanges. Bachelors degree or relevant experience is required, and Computer Science is preferred. Manual Software Testing of complex Windows software applications for accuracy, load, performance or stability. Experience with TCP\IP or sockets is a small plus. Find the bugs, Defect identification, and document defects. Test cases, use automation and execution of tests. Documentation and tracking of program defects. Must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check.
Compensation: $75,000 to 85,000 per year
