SQL Programmer

Our client, a small to mid-size firm in the financial industry, has an immediate need for a SQL Programmer with SQL Server experience including TSQL, queries, functions and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).  This position will require comprehension of a complex process as well as self-motivation, follow-up and follow-through skills to get things done with a third-party software and consulting company.  Design and write reports in SSRS.  Use business intelligence (BI), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and schema to pull data into reports.  Move data using SQL Server Integration Services packages to Extract Transfer and Load (ETL) data. 

 

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required.  (Degree is a must).

2-4 years of SQL Server experience including:  functions, queries, T-SQL, Transact-SQL, stored procedures and (SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Crystal Reports)

 

Desired Experience:

SSIS.  SSAS.  Any .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Sharepoint knowledge or skills helpful.  Any accounting, financial, securities, brokerage, hedge fund, banking or insurance experience very helpful and high preferred.
