Visual C++ Developers – threaded, Windows
We require candidates with strong Visual C++ skills for software engineering positions for an excellent client, with an outstanding track record of achievement. These are excellent full-time employment opportunities developing complex Visual C++, Windows, COM, MFC, multi-threaded, financial software applications, including graphical user interfaces (GUI), user interfaces (UI), from within the Visual Studio 2008 IDE, using Visual C++ and SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008, and some C#. Visual C++, MFC, COM, SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server skills will be applied.
Requirements:
Applicants must have extensive experience in Visual C++, Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, Windows SDK programming experience, COM, MFC, multi-threading, basic knowledge of SQL including queries and experience with application database interfaces such as ADO, ODBC. We require 6-8+ years experience in Windows, Visual C++, multi-threaded applications development experience. Applicants will be tested on VC++ knowledge. BS Degree or MS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline is required. Knowledge of financial applications is a huge plus, especially Hedge Funds, stock trading related, or Brokerage, FIX, financial interexchange, foreign currency trading, fx, commodity trading, ECNs, exchanges, options trading, commodity trading. C# is a plus.
